Challenge
CMTI NMTC Bangalore is for the establishment of world-class cleanroom labs, for Micro and Nano Manufacturing. This houses about 50 advanced/high technology equipment for Micro and Nanofabrication and Nano Characterization under one umbrella.
The facility will be used for integrated Micro & Nanofabrication & characterization services to industries and for Technology and product development for high value, import substitution machines, and equipment for industries (CG sector, High-value Metrology, Optical, Biomedical, Healthcare, Defense, Aerospace, Energy, etc.).

- Labs are designed with cleanroom Classes 100,1000 and 10000
- Temperature control 20 +/- 0.1 °C
- Humidity control 50 +/- 2% floor vibration below 100 nm
- The room pressure limited to 0.03 to 0.05 inch
- 3 stage filtration system fine filter, HEPA filter, and ULPA filter. HEPA and ULPA have a minimum efficiency of 99.997 % and can remove up to 0.3 microns

- Dedicated scientists and visiting corridors are created to control the pressure differences across the clean rooms
